About Currier Woodworks

Don Currier began his woodworking career while serving as a builder with the Navy Seabees. After a five year hitch, he traveled to a little town on the coast of Wales where he apprenticed under a master wood worker for a year and a half.

He and his wife then moved back to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In 1989 he opened Currier Hardwoods, selling domestic and exotic lumbers. As Don 's reputation grew, the business evolved into more cabinetry work than hardwood sales. In 1993 he expanded to a larger facility and became Currier Woodworks. His work is showcased in many fine homes from Nantucket to New York.

In 2004, Don and his family decided to escape the cold New England winters and move to Beaufort North Carolina, where he is once again owner operator of Currier Woodworks.

Since 1989, Don Currier has been hand crafting beautiful furniture and cabinetry for the home and business. Mr. Currier brings a practiced and refined vision to his work. He prides himself on his ability to work with almost any budget and translate his client 's ideas into works of beauty and function. He enjoys working with home owners, contractors, architects and designers.
